A little while back, I was preparing a slideshow for a live workshop on logo design. I wanted to introduce my audience to the different types of logos before showing examples of good and bad ones, and before getting into the whole process of how to locate designers, hire the right one, and communicate with him or her properly.

However, while doing some research, I noticed there weren’t any good images that categorized the different types of logos in one place. So that’s why I decided to create my own infographic on the subject. Below is this graphic, with the three different types of logos, and two other variations.
